About Peter MacDonald
Before founding Wunderite in 2018, Peter worked at a family insurance agency selling most types of insurance. In this role, Peter earned industry licenses and credentials (CPCU, CRM, CIC, LIA), represented independent agents to lawmakers in Washington DC with the IIABA, and built and implemented technology for the agency.
Intrigued by computers since he was four, Peter hacked the UI of AOL Instant Messenger, started modhalo.net to enhance Halo gameplay, and built bulletprooflinks.com (featured in Wired) before graduating high school. He quickly figured that the insurance industry needed better technology.
Peter earned an MBA with distinction from Boston College as a Dean’s Scholar and a BS in Mathematics Cum Laude from Wheaton (IL).
