Show Notes

[00:00:00] - Stephen Sedlak wrote a book called The Work Comp Control Effect to help small business owners reduce their premium for work comp. He self-published the book and it has generated $5 million in sales as he gave it away FREE.

[00:01:31] -  Andy Mathisen from GloveBox has shown how you can offer clients AND non-clients this app to access their insurance on the go and ensure they’ll come to you with future questions.

[00:02:50] Create video content that answers common questions. Interview local businesses on a podcast to give them exposure. Chime in on Nextdoor and Facebook threads where people are looking for a good insurance agent.

[00:06:05] Host a seminar or webinar on LinkedIn and Facebook where you're solving a problem your clients are facing or a problem in your niche market. You can cover things like how to hire faster, how to set up Facebook ads, or how to build a funnel.

[00:07:52] - Send automated email campaigns to existing clients using a CRM and then send them back to a renewal review. This is a great way to make sure that you're revealing cross sell opportunities to your clients through your CRM. For us in the insurance industry, this is huge as renewals happen every year.

[00:08:46] - Use CRM to send automated emails and text messages to anyone who fills out your Get a Quote form or request proposal. Nurture your customers by sending them helpful content. Automate emails to existing customers who have one thing but not another.
